Medical Consultation

Is Cell Therapy suitable for everyone?

No, there are some contraindications. The pre-injection medical check-up will screen out those who are not suitable as candidates for Cell Therapy.

Is the effect equal for everyone who takes the treatment and if not, what are the factors governing its effectiveness?

We do not know precisely why some people respond with good results and others with minimal effects. There could be a host of reasons. We suspect that it may be due in part to the integrity of the individual’s immune system and overall health of the patient.

Are there any pre-existing conditions that will hamper/reduce the effectiveness of Cell Therapy?

In general, conditions characterized by excessive inflammation should not be treated during the “acute phase”. Rheumatoid arthritis during an acute flare-up should not be treated. There should be no treatment during pregnancy, chemotherapy or active cancer.

Is it possible that a patient may be deemed unsuitable for Cell treatment and therefore rejected by VMG clinic?

Yes, that is a distinct possibility. However, the pre-injection medical screening and tests which should be done approximately a month before departure, should screen out those who are not suitable to receive the Cell Treatment.

Is there a best time/season of the year to receive Cell Therapy? Why?

Although there is no particular time of the year more suited for treatment than any other time, scheduling your treatment well in advance is recommended given the increased popularity of this treatment. For immune system in Europe it is better to treat the patients in the early fall, before the winter.

What is the process of preparing the cell material before transplantation?

The cell material is prepared carefully by a team of healthcare professionals, following strict guidelines set by the German health authorities. The exact method remains a proprietary secret.

How are the cell material transplanted into the recipient body?

The active cell material is injected intramuscularly into the patient. This method has been found to be most effective and safest.

Is there a difference in cell structure between the human cell and lamb cell? If so, how does it assimilate with the human body upon transplantation?

Mammalian cells share many similar characteristics but they are not identical. Recent theories indicate that the injected cell material results in the release of “signaling factors” that travel to damage tissues where they stimulate local repair mechanisms.

Will it cause addiction?

No it is not addictive. The organs will not wear out and fail if there’s no continued treatments over a given period. However, we would highly recommend a yearly treatment for health maintenance.

Is there a drastic deterioration of the recipient’s well-being if he/she decides to stop Cell Therapy after a few treatments?

It has been found that every individual respond differently to Cell Therapy. In certain cases, only one treatment would suffice while in others, repeat treatments are necessary to maintain good health and quality of life.

Is it possible that the recipient body might “over-react” to the introduction of foreign cells?

There is a small risk of an allergic reaction happening during this procedure and as such precautions are taken to both minimize that risk and preparations are made to treat the reaction if it does happen.

What if patients do not have an integrated medicine clinic from their countries of origin for pre-treatment therapy prior to cell therapy?

Villa Medica has prepared a pre-cell therapy instruction sheet which provides alternative modes of preparing for the therapy, if there aren’t any clinics within the countries of origin providing integrated medicine treatments for detoxification. Blood examinations needed and medical examination (history and physical assessment) could be done by a local doctor licensed to practice from the country of origin.

How are guests going to be followed-up after their German cell therapy?

Villa Medica offers a follow-up system on the following months after the cell therapy treatment: first month, third month, sixth month and ninth month. Post-Cell Therapy blood examinations will be done during the third month of follow-up. Additional blood examinations necessary to monitor the progress of the patient will be recommended by the consulting physician. Cost of the blood examinations will be borne by the patient.

Is Cell Therapy safe and effective?

Cell therapy is safe and effective though there may be few side-effects that could be experienced post injection such as mild burning on the injection site, redness, warmth or mild fever, these are considered to be signs of an immune reaction signaling an effective implantation of the active cell material into the host’s body.

Are results of Cell Therapy difficult to monitor?

There are two types of results being monitored in cell therapy. Firstly, the patient’s clinical improvements, which is seen as improvement in the patient’s symptoms. Secondly, blood chemistry parameters, pre-treatment and post-treatment. With Villa Medica’s follow-up protocol, both of these results are going to be assessed.

Will the DNA of sheep be transferred to human DNA?

DNA is transferred as fetal cell content being injected. However, it is not integrated with the human cell DNA. Cell Therapy effects occur through signaling protein transfer, not DNA transfer.

What are the side effects that patients shall anticipate?

As in any invasive procedure, there may be minimal pain, itchiness and swelling at the injection site. Fever, a signal of an immune system reaction, is a good indication that the body is reacting well to the transplanted cells.

What are the significant results of the therapy?

Cell therapy never promises complete healing. It is an additional or alternative treatment to conventional treatments and also considered as a holistic treatment. Results vary with individuals depending on their age, physical conditions, lifestyle, eating habits, and the state of the disease. In general people experience resilience in stressful occasions, more youthful appearance and younger skin, enhanced fertility, reduction of certain physical symptoms and improvement of health and general wellbeing.

How long shall a patient wait to see significant improvements after the injection?

Due to the presence of organelles in the injectant (particularly, the mitochondria which is considered the “power house” of the cell), there could be an instant feeling of freshness and vigor a few hours to 2 days after the treatment, a plateau follows after this period which later on will pick up and reach its peak between 2 – 3 months post treatment.

What is the injection process like?

Generally, a standard 9 injections are prepared. They are injected directly into the gluteal muscles (buttocks) after disinfection of the area. For joint injections, the cell extract suspension is injected directly into or around the affected joints.

Is it true that patients will feel better immediately after the injection and then thereafter feel tired before the positive effects are experienced?

Yes , the freshness and vigor felt within the first two days of injection is due to the energy within the organelles that are contained in the cell extract preparations. After this, the injected active cell extract carrying biological markers transferred through specific protein signals will home in into their respective organs requiring replacement and regeneration. At this stage, the body is considered to be “under stress” and the patient will feel fatigued and sometimes weak for up to 4 weeks before full effects of regeneration are felt. This condition is like recovering from an illness. At this stage, we advise our patients to abstain from vigorous activities and to get enough rest in order to assist the body to get full benefits of regeneration. Patients will generally experience a sense of wellness with better energy level and amelioration of some previous symptoms once the process is completed successfully.

Is it true that sometimes patients can feel weak and fatigued for up to 2-3 months ?

Yes, the duration of this period of fatigue will vary between patients depending on the age and state of their body prior to the treatment. It is expected that patients with chronic conditions and those with stressful lifestyles may experience a longer period of fatigue and sometimes weakness. This is a temporary condition and we highly recommend that such patients be well hydrated and be well rested. Patients will feel relieve once regeneration is completed. For such patients however, several treatments may be required (cumulative effect) to achieve maximum benefit.

What are the indications for the treatment?

Cell Therapy is indicated for chronic or long standing diseases ( but not vegetative states ), and some cases of acute infection where inflammation has already stabilized.

What are the contraindications of Cell Therapy?

Cell Therapy is NOT a substitute for any surgery indicated for a medical condition, cure of cancer cases and is also not indicated for patients who require nursing care or are pregnant.

Do Ozone therapy and Chelation have a role in preparatory care for Cell Therapy?

Definitely. Detoxification (one example is by means of removing heavy metals in the body) and lowering of any possible inflammatory reactions in the body are the key factors in pre-treatment care. These could be achieved by performing Chelation and Ozone therapy. However these treatments are not advised for a period of 1 month after the implantation.
